The US online business network LinkedIn plans to open its second European office in the Netherlands as it has found that the 1.4 million Dutch entrepreneurs and employees belong to the most active users of the site. LinkedIn’s Europe Director Kevin Eyres said, however, that the company is still looking for office space and staff.
LinkedIn, a business-oriented social networking site was established in 2003. With more than 45 million users representing 150 industries around the world, LinkedIn is a fast-growing professional networking site that allows members to create business contacts, search for jobs, and find potential clients. Individuals have the ability to create their own professional profile that can be viewed by others in their network, and also view the profiles of their own contacts
