In this recession, many have asked ‘What advice do you have for us as SMEs?’ The United Nations has commissioned a report from its Danish base to come up with just such recommendations.
The UN report ‘Small and Medium Sized Enterprises on Their Way Towards Global Responsibility’ uses case studies of the efforts of ten Danish businesses in addressing common human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption challenges. Based on the companies’ experiences, the guide presents a number of practical recommendations for SMEs seeking to find the right approach to the implementation of the Global Compact principles in their strategy and operations.
